Christmas is typically the time of year when we look upon those who are less fortunate than us and open our hearts to them so that they too can feel the spirit of giving that is so essential to then season.
Maybe so, but I can’t feel much sympathy for this guy who will surely be a Darwin Award Honorable Mention. He is responsible for cutting off power to more than 7,000 homes and businesses after attempting to climb onto a transformer where he came in contact with a 69,000 volt transmission line. Apparently he climbed the chain link fence into a power substation in order to steal copper wiring. I guess he found a new meaning for the term “hot merchandise”.
