The American arrested in Pakistan who was on a solo mission to hunt down Osama bin Laden told police he was intent on avenging the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks.

Authorities said Gary Brooks Faulkner, a construction worker who lived in Greeley, Colo., was arrested attempting to cross into Afghanistan in the mountainous region of northern Pakistan. He was armed with a pistol, sword, night vision goggles, a map and was reportedly carrying Christian literature.

Police arrested Faulkner, 50, in a hotel near the Afghanistan border. Police said that when he was arrested, Faulkner claimed he was going to take revenge for al Qaeda’s terror attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center.

Five young teenagers got pregnant after playing games with their school mates from a lower secondary school in the town of Ostroda, northern Poland.

Students, aged 14-15, played a game called “the sun” or “a star”. “Girls lay on the floor in a circle with their heads together and eyes closed and boys copulate with them, taking turns. The winner was the boy who managed to finish the intercourse last,” one of the students revealed.

The game resulted in several pregnancies. “This year five girls got pregnant, two of them have already given birth,” said Anna Czarnocka, the school’s headmaster.

The prosecutors who are investigating the case complain that parents and teachers of the teenagers from Ostroda are not willing to cooperate. Nobody talks about sex at school and there is no psychologist who would explain to the students that such games can lead to pregnancy.

Seriously? They didn’t know that sex would lead to pregnancy? Their parents never told them, they never received any kind of sex ed, and no one ever mentioned “no sex before marriage” to them?

ODESSA, Texas — A 22-year-old man accused of posing as a high school basketball player in Texas was released from jail Wednesday.

Guerdwich (GURD-which) Montimere posted $500 bond a day after he was arrested on a charge of failure to identify himself to a police officer, said Ector County sheriff’s Sgt. Debbie Bruce.

School officials said Montimere admitted posing as Jerry Joseph, a 16-year-old sophomore who led Permian High School to the state playoffs. Permian is the same school made famous in the football movie “Friday Night Lights.”

Suspicions about the player’s identity first arose when three Florida basketball coaches familiar with Montimere recognized him last month at an amateur tournament in Little Rock, Ark. Montimere graduated from Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale in 2007.

The 6-foot-5 Montimere presented himself as Joseph after moving to Odessa in February 2009 and enrolling as a ninth-grader at a junior high, said school district spokesman Mike Adkins.

He showed officials a Haitian birth certificate indicating he was 15 and claimed he was living with a half-brother in the dorm of a local university, Adkins said.

A strange, strange man has been showing up on morning shows throughout the Midwest, claiming to be a yo-yo trick champion. He is not. He is actually terrible at yo-yo. Yet he keeps getting on the air.

Little is known about “K-Strass,” who goes by Kenny Strasser, or sometimes Karl Strassburg. He claims to be from Wisconsin (except when he doesn’t). He claims to be from a broken home, with his own addiction issues (except when he isn’t).

All we know is that K-Strass has shown up on television six times in the past month, showing off his yo-yo “skills” and generally embarrassing the hosts.

Three bisexual men have sued a national gay-athletic organization for discrimination for disqualifying their team at the 2008 Gay Softball World Series team by deeming the three not gay enough to participate, The Seattle Times reports.

The lawsuit filed in Seattle Tuesday by the three Bay Area men accuses the North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance of violating Washington state law barring discrimination.

An attorney for the alliance denies the allegations, the paper says.

The three plaintiffs played on a team called D2 that qualified for the 2008 competition, which stipulates that each team can have no more than two heterosexual players.

After a competing team complained,  the lawsuit says, the alliance ruled the three bisexual men were “nongay” and stripped D2 of it second-place finish, The Times says.

The Seattle Weekly reports that the dispute erupted in the middle of the championship game and that play was stopped several times because of the protests.

After the game, the plaintiffs charge, they were grilled in front of  some 25 people as to their sexual attractions and desires, purportedly to determine their gayness.

At one point, the lawsuit alleges, one of the plaintiffs was told: “This is the Gay World Series, not the Bisexual World Series.”

The men are seeking $75,000 for emotional distress and also want D2′s second-place finish reinstated

The wife of a US Army soldier, Jennifer Stweart, claims she got pregnant by watching a 3D adult film while visiting friends in New York.

38-year-old Jennifer Stweart used the bizarre claims to explain to her husband why their child was black, despite the lovers being very much white skinned.

Jennifer Stweart said her child looks just like a black actor in the adult movie she claims to have watched in 3D with her east coast pals.

“A month after watching the movie, I started feeling dizzy and the results were positive,” Jennifer Stweart said.

THE remains of Noah’s Ark have been discovered 13,000ft up a Turkish mountain, it has been claimed.

A group of Chinese and Turkish evangelical explorers say they have found wooden remains on Mount Ararat in eastern Turkey.

They claim carbon dating proves the relics are 4,800 years old — around the same time the ark was said to be afloat.

Laura Hall is the first person to be banned from buying or drinking booze ANYWHERE in England or Wales.

Magistrates slapped the Drinking Banning Order (DBO) on Hall after she was involved in a run of alcohol-related public order offences.

Cops argued strict measures were needed to deal with the 20-year-old’s drunken behaviour.

The DBO means Hall is not allowed in any pub, club, off-licence or bar in England and Wales for the next two years. She is also banned from buying booze – or having alcohol in an unsealed container or drinking in any public place. And she must attend an alcohol-misuse course.

Sgt David Roberts added: “Rather than seeing it as a punishment, we hope she’ll use it to get her life on track.” Hall, of Bromsgrove, Worcs, had already been banned from all her local pubs before yesterday’s decision by Kidderminster JPs.

Licensing officer PC Neil Sharpe said he hoped the order would prove an “example to others”.

He added: “A DBO is a powerful tool for tackling alcohol-related disorder. We will not hesitate to apply for more and we hope that others with drink-related issues will take note of this.”

DBOs were launched by the Home Office last September. But Rachel Seabrook, of the Institute of Alcohol Studies, doubted whether the order could be enforced.

She said: “How can a police officer in Wales know this women has been banned if she turns up in his town?”

A woman from Manchester is blaming an accident on her Wii Fit board for giving her a raging appetite for sex.

In news which is sure to send Nintendo Wii sales through the roof, Amanda Flowers (the woman in question) slipped on her Wii Fit board, only to damage a nerve.

This lead to an increase in her libido which, according to the Daily Star, means Amanda now needs “ten sex sessions” a day to be, er, satisfied.

The reason she is so sex-obsessed – the Daily Star have gone as far as to call her ‘randy’ – is because of something called ‘persistent sexual arousal syndrome’.

Flowers is so out of control that she has to remedy her problem with deep breaths, noting: “With no cure I just have to try to control my passion by breathing deeply. Hopefully one day I’ll find a superstud who can satisfy me.”

The world can seem like such a big place when you are searching for someone missing in your life, but then again sometimes that person turns out to be right before you.

Stephen Goosney, 29, and Tommy Larkin, 30, were born a year and a half apart. They were both adopted and began life knowing they were missing vital pieces of their personal history.

The two men told the Corner Brook Western Star they began the process of finding out who they were several years ago, both citing medical history as their primary reason behind the search.

They soon uncovered their past — just across the street from one another.

The pair discovered from an adoption agency that they had been within shouting distance for seven months.

“She gave me his name and asked me four or five times if I knew him,” Mr. Larkin said, referring to the person at the adoption agency who assisted the search.

“I said I didn’t, and she kept asking me, if I was sure I haven’t met him.”

“She told me, if I got the paper signed and back to her right away, she was sure she could have us meeting by the end of the week. I was like, ‘OK, well he is in Newfoundland.“’

Then, as he was pacing the living room, talking on the phone, he was given the address.

“I said, ‘No … I am looking at the house right now,“’ he said.

Unfortunately, Mr. Goosney was out of town, but the next day, March 25, the brothers finally met.

It is understood Curt Jarant was taken to the airport in a taxi

Police have arrested two women after they tried to take the body of a dead relative on to a plane at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Staff became suspicious when they tried to check in 91-year-old Curt Willi Jarant, who was wearing sunglasses, for a flight to Berlin on Saturday.

The women – his widow and step-daughter – said they thought he was asleep.

They were arrested on suspicion of failing to give notification of a death, police said.
